Supernatural Prosperity
Zechariah 1:17 (KJV) “Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.”
This verse is a prophetic declaration of supernatural expansion. The Lord Himself speaks of prosperity not as mere wealth, but as divine increase that causes His cities to spread abroad. Prosperity here is tied to purpose the advancement of God’s kingdom, the comfort of His people, and the reaffirmation of His covenant choice.
Notice the threefold promise:
- Spread Abroad — Prosperity is not meant to be contained. When God prospers His people, it overflows into influence, outreach, and impact. It is supernatural multiplication.
- Comfort Zion — Prosperity brings restoration and healing. It is not just material; it is emotional, spiritual, and communal. God’s prosperity wipes away shame and strengthens His people.
- Choose Jerusalem Again — Prosperity is a sign of God’s favor. His choice is reaffirmed, His covenant is alive, and His people are marked by His presence.
This is not ordinary prosperity. It is supernatural because it flows from the Lord of hosts the One who commands angelic armies and governs nations. When He prospers, no opposition can stop it. It is prosperity with purpose, prosperity that spreads the gospel, prosperity that comforts families, and prosperity that confirms His covenant.
As you stand at your family altar, declare this scripture over your household. Believe that God’s prosperity will cause your influence to spread, your family to be comforted, and your destiny to be reaffirmed in His choice.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of supernatural prosperity. Let our lives and families be spread abroad through Your blessing. Comfort us in every area of need, and reaffirm Your covenant choice upon us. May our prosperity serve Your kingdom and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
