Philip Lyn studied at Oxford and worked in London for several years before practicing as a medical specialist in Malaysia. A bi-vocational pastor, he founded Skyline Church, a vibrant and growing city church whose large pastoral team is made up of bi-vocational pastors, ranging from doctors to lawyers, businesspeople to IT specialists, as well as managers and teachers—all of whom see ministry in the workplace and the church as one and the same calling. He has a passion for bringing God’s Kingdom into the workplace and has equipped Christians across many nations to engage, influence, and transform their places of work. Together with his wife, Nancy, they have experienced many miracles and believe prayer is key to revival in the workplace and nations. His three books—Slingshots (comprising spiritual nuggets for the soul), The Call of Issachar (to raise prayer teams for the church), and The Invasive Kingdom (which aims to transform today’s believers into workplace ministers)—have seen multiple reprints and have been translated into other languages.
