Holy Saturday (Easter Saturday)
“My flesh also shall rest in hope.” (Psalm 16:9 KJV) Extended Reflection & Prayer: Holy Saturday is often overlooked, yet it carries a profound message. The tomb was sealed, the disciples were scattered, and the world seemed silent. But in that silence, hope was resting. The waiting between the cross and the resurrection reminds us that even when God seems quiet, His promises are still alive. Lord, we thank You for the gift of hope that sustains us in seasons of waiting. Just as Christ’s body rested in the tomb, we too learn to rest in Your faithfulness. Teach us patience when answers seem delayed, courage when darkness surrounds us, and trust when we cannot see the way forward. On this Holy Saturday, we pray for all who feel stuck between sorrow and joy, loss and restoration, despair and faith. May they find comfort in knowing that Sunday is coming—that resurrection is certain, and Your promises never fail. Let the silence of this day remind us that hope is not dead, but alive in Christ. Amen. #HolySaturday #HopeInChrist #WaitingWithFaith #SundayIsComing
